"During the immediate aftermath of the Palisades fire in January 2025, combined with some challenging personal family news, my husband and I quickly decided to temporarily relocate our family from West LA to Westlake Village where I grew up. Timing was of the essence, as we have two elementary-school-aged children and needed to get them into a new public school ASAP. Without hesitation, I reached out to Jaime on a Thursday night asking if she could show us rental properties that weekend. She rose to the occasion, as she would do for us many more times in the coming months, and we signed a short-term lease on the perfect temporary home just five days later. It turns out Westlake life was better than we expected, and we decided to permanently move there from West LA. Over the following eight months, Jaime helped us in more ways than we could have imagined: she leased our West LA home for the highest price based on comps, quickly sold our Westlake Village investment property we had been renting out for 10+ years (during a tough market, receiving multiple offers), extended the short-term lease on the Westlake Village rental we thought we’d only be in for four months, and finally helped us purchase our Westlake Village forever home from my parents, coming full circle. While my family had so much going on, Jaime made dealing with these four properties (and four transactions) as easy as possible, from coordinating pre-sale readiness, including hiring and managing vendors for upgrades, to literally picking out new light fixtures to uplevel the house, to personally pre-screening potential tenants for our West LA house, she was incredible.
